The table was initially a movable stand furniture, easy to build and disassemble. Most tables of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries are built according to the principle of the Roman cartibula : their board rests on two large supports joined by a spacer.<\/p>\n

Here, three cut-out fans form the base. They are connected together by a particularly low spacer. The three supports end in gliders.<\/p>\n

The top rests directly on the base. The long and narrow board allow to welcome many guests.<\/p>\n

The pure and sober shapes of this table give it a great elegance.<\/p>\n
