Alex Berdal was born in 1945 at Perpignan, France and was educated at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris.<\/span><\/p>\n

His many prizes include the Prix de Rome (1968), Prince Rainier III of Monaco International Grand Prix (1969).<\/span><\/p>\n

Salon des Artistes Fran\u00e7ais, Gold Medal (1978)<\/span><\/p>\n

Salon d\u2019Automne, Taylor Prize (1979)<\/span><\/p>\n

Antral Prize and Club des amis de l\u2019Europe et des Arts Prize<\/span><\/p>\n

Second Prize, Yvelines (1982)<\/span><\/p>\n

Golden Orchid (1983)<\/span><\/p>\n

And the Taylor Foundation Ren\u00e9 B\u00e9j\u00e0 Prize (1985)<\/span><\/p>\n

He has exhibited widely, with a Japanese tour and exhibitions in Tokyo, Osaka and Tokyo (1970), an exhibition at the Senate Orangerie in Paris (1974), and a Russian tour with exhibitions in Moscou and Leningrad, sponsored by the Salon des Artistes\u00a0 Fran\u00e7ais (1975).<\/span><\/p>\n

He is member of the Salon d\u2019Automne, Salon des Artistes Fran\u00e7ais et peintres t\u00e9moins de leur Temps.<\/span><\/p>\n

His works are to be found in the collections of the paris City Museum, Prince Rainier III of Monaco, Teheran Museum of Modern Art and The Fontainebleau Museum, <\/span>as well as on permanent exhibition in cities in England, Germany, Holland, Japon, Switzerland, and the USA.<\/span><\/p>\n
