It is developed in its last decades.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The particular proportions of these chairs are characteristic of the <i>Chauffeuse<\/i>\u00a0: low chair without arms. Placed near the fireplace, the low seat placed the occupant at the fireplace level and the high arched backrest shielded him from drafts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The vegetal decoration triumphs over the curvature of the lines and creates continuity between the different elements. The base, the crosspieces and H-shaped struts are molded and carved with flowering branches.
