Armoire d\u2019apothicaire en bois \u00e0 d\u00e9cor sculpt\u00e9 de style n\u00e9ogothique. Les chapiteaux sont sculpt\u00e9s de Baphomets tenant par les cheveux deux personnages pour l’un et d’oiseaux fantastiques pour l’autre.<\/p>\n

Idole v\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par les chevaliers de l\u2019Ordre du Temple, le plus souvent repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par la t\u00eate d\u2019un homme barbu \u2013 mais pas seulement. Les templiers \u00e0 la chute des Etats latins d\u2019Orient en 1291, s\u2019exilent nombreux en France et repr\u00e9sentent une force militaire et financi\u00e8re puissante face au pouvoir royal affaiblit par les dettes.<\/p>\n

Ils ont en outre, \u00e9t\u00e9 accus\u00e9s d\u2019apostasie pour avoir en Orient reni\u00e9 le Christ et ador\u00e9 Baphomet mais aussi, selon l\u2019une des nombreuses interpr\u00e9tations, il s\u2019agit d\u2019un nom de code signifiant sagesse\u2026<\/p>\n
