Son iconographie refl\u00e8te \u00e0 la fois la ferveur jacquaire li\u00e9e aux p\u00e8lerinages et le contexte spirituel et politique de la Catalogne m\u00e9di\u00e9vale.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cette sculpture travaill\u00e9e en ronde bosse dans un bois de r\u00e9sineux pr\u00e9sente un Saint Jacques p\u00e8lerin. De stature, hi\u00e9ratique, il est positionn\u00e9 debout. T\u00f4t d\u2019\u00e9poque, il est sculpt\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re primitive, encore un peu rigide et frontale comme il est d\u2019usage en ce d\u00e9but du XIII\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. Il tient un livre ouvert de sa main gauche. Les traits de son visage jovial semblent bienveillants. Il invite le spectateur \u00e0 la d\u00e9votion.
