Description

This fine chest or travel case is made of softwood. Its oblong shape is topped by a curved lid. The adze cut planks structure is strenghtened with metallic hinges and small flower shaped nails. On the facade is located a hasp lock while on both lateral sides are placed handles.

This kind of chests is frequently used from the Gothic era onwards in the south of France and in Spain.
