Description
Here is a rare pair of hammered and chiselled wrought iron Andirons with brass finials.
The base, featuring arches, is adorned with volutes and a central fleur-de-lis. It supports a column with polygonal facets, topped with an Ionic capital. The shaft ends in a gilded brass finial.
On the front face, it features a slender, ringed hook that continues into a baluster, topped with a smaller gilded brass finial. Geometric and floral motifs decorate the columns.
