Description

Alex Berdal was born in 1945 at Perpignan, France and was educated at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris.

His many prizes include the Prix de Rome (1968), Prince Rainier III of Monaco International Grand Prix (1969).

Antral Prize and Club des amis de l’Europe et des Arts Prize

He has exhibited widely, with a Japanese tour and exhibitions in Tokyo, Osaka and Tokyo (1970), an exhibition at the Senate Orangerie in Paris (1974), and a Russian tour with exhibitions in Moscou and Leningrad, sponsored by the Salon des Artistes  Français (1975).

He is member of the Salon d’Automne, Salon des Artistes Français et peintres témoins de leur Temps.

His works are to be found in the collections of the paris City Museum, Prince Rainier III of Monaco, Teheran Museum of Modern Art and The Fontainebleau Museum, as well as on permanent exhibition in cities in England, Germany, Holland, Japon, Switzerland, and the USA.
