Description
This exceptional mirror presents an undulating openworked frame showing a flower, waterleaf and scroll decor.
The frame is topped by a large pediment with a central engraved glass cartouche showing putti playing amongst flowers. This cartouche is encased by finely carved leaves and is crowned by a shell.
This opulent mirror is characteristic of 17th century Venitian art. It has kept its original glass.
