Description

This large and strong chest stands on two vigorous lion paws above which runs a gilded and polychrome frieze imitating basketry. Two important acanthus leaves appear on the angles. The facade of the chest is adorned with concentric moulded frames. The panel is centred with two winged chimeras with a foliated body framing a mask. On the lateral jambs leaves roll in volutes and are accompanied by flowers. The lid is bordered by a frieze. On the lateral facades are painted two coat-of-arms.
