Description

This important walnut jewellery chest is outlined with a gilt motif and presents a decor imitating basketry. The lid is topped by a rectangular pyramid framed with pearl friezes and reeded canals.

Inside the box a small panel slides under the lid to present a compartment and three lateral drawers. The edges are adorned with diamond motifs and pearl friezes.

The chest stands on four lion paws.
