Description

Biography :

Fabrice Lebar is a French sculptor who lives and works near Royan. His favorite material in sculpture is metal.

Painter, sculptor and art founder, Fabrice Lebar masters both the tool and the idea. He is the architect of a story where the elements collide in his imagination. His knowledge of molten metal makes us discover a sensuality that we never imagined, both from the point of view of the look and that of the touch.

The artist trained in stone cutting and sculpture on the restoration sites of Historic Monuments, then in lost wax art foundry techniques. It has always evolved in the milieu of craftsmen and artists in the tradition of tradespeople, in the ferment of creators. From 1993 to 2004, he exhibited around thirty times in Brussels (including one at the town hall); since then, his exhibitions have been seen in Mornac-sur-Seudre, on the Ile de Ré, in Paris, in Arcachon, in Montmorillon (guest of honour), Bordeaux, Blaye.
